I have run a charter boat for over 30 years and I have used just about every manufacturer's bottom paint to protect my boat. I go in the water the first of April and come out in the middle of December. That's a long time for bottom paint to hold up. I tried Aqua Gard for the 1st time this past season. The first thing that I noticed was the cost. 1/2 that of other manufacturers products. It happened that I was using another product to touch up my boat bottom and I was able to paint about half the boat with their paint. I did the other half with Aquagard. I noticed that applying the Aquagard was really easy and I did not have to worry about the temperature of the hull since it is water based (which makes it simple to clean up) That is a bonus when you have to get the boat in the water to make a living in cool weather. I then dropped the boat in and fished for 8 months. When I pulled the boat in December, WOW! The half with the Aquagard paint had very little growth and no barnacles. Also, the area that I painted with Aquagard will not have to be totally repainted this year but will only need a touch up . The other side with the other paint did not fare as well. I am truly impressed with your product and rest assured that from now on I will be applying Aquagard when I paint my bottom . Thanks for making such a great product. I have suggested to my Marina store that they should stock Aquagard since it has proven to work so well on my vessel.

Hello,

We want you know that we are very, very happy with your Aquagard bottom paint. We put it on our sailboat last year (2010) and the bottom has never looked better. There were no barnacles on the bottom and no slime (and the boat had been parked for a month when hauled for the winter). You told us the paint would hold up for two seasons and as we prepare to launch for the second season, the bottom looks wonderful.

I have had great experiences with Aquagard Bottom Paint over the past couple of seasons. The last gallon was enough for two seasons, and held up well being stored over the winter. My brother may use the other half this year for his smaller Whaler, since he saw how easy clean-up is, plus it does a great job keeping the bottom clean in the water. We both have been talking up the product for you.

We are writing this letter to express how much we love your product. We used the Aquagard Bottom Paint for the first time this past season and were pleasantly surprised at how much better it held up in comparison with other paints we’ve used. We keep our boat in the water for 6 months out of the year and Aquagard provided complete protection.

It is a wonderful feeling to know we have helped protect the environment and a great relief that we will not need to scrape and sand before applying paint for the next season.
